Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 11, 2026
This policy is a working draft prepared in-house and is pending review by an attorney. We keep it in plain English on purpose.
Who we are
Kindred Oak ("we," "us") operates kindoak.org. You can reach us anytime at cameron@kindoak.org.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you join the newsletter, raise your hand to get involved, or contact us, we collect what you submit: typically your name, email address, city, and your message.
- Basic analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly tool that gives us aggregate page statistics. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
- Calculator inputs. The numbers you enter in our calculators stay in your browser. We do not receive, store, or see them.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter and resources you asked for.
- To respond when you contact us.
- To understand which content helps men most, in aggregate.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never share it with third parties for their marketing.
- We never email you without a way out. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe.
Where your data lives
Email signups are stored in HubSpot, our customer relationship platform. The website is hosted on Vercel. Both are established providers with their own security and privacy commitments.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from any email instantly using the link in its footer. You can also email us at cameron@kindoak.org to ask what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will honor those requests.
Young men under 18
Some of our content serves men as young as 15. We do not knowingly collect more information from anyone under 18 than an email address voluntarily provided, and a parent or guardian can email us to have a minor's information removed.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
