The Rule of Thumb

Easiest to start, fully liquid, proven over decades. Buy a broad index fund and hold. The swings are normal, time smooths them out.
Higher potential through leverage and rent, but it is real work and not liquid. The rate here is a rough total return, run an actual deal in the Real Estate tab.
Aims for steadier income from real-estate-backed loans. Less liquid, and the return is a target, not a promise.

“Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.” Proverbs 13:11, KJV. Every one of these rewards patience over hype.
